Christmas Month at The SnK

Howdy, Everybody!

Hope Y’all had a great Thanksgiving. Not the norm with COVID, but hopefully good.

Fall hasn’t been real “Fallish” in South Central Texas, but it took a bit of a change recently, with cooler temps, even cold enough to lay some frost down one morning.

So, it’s December, Christmas month, and Selena’s got the gates decorated, as well as the Season Tree, in the living room.

With the drop in temps, The SnK got some much needed rain; about 3″ in a couple of days. We could use some more, but it’s okay if it waits, a little bit.

Over the Thanksgiving weekend, the Hunting Crew got another doe. They’ve been doing pretty well with hogs too. Hopefully, they’ll get few more of both this season.

Well, that’s it for now.

Until next time, Peace!

  1. Hi Keith and Selena,

It is Marla with the Native Prairies Association of Texas. It is such a treat to visit your SnK Wildlife Preserve website to see what it is all about. Thank you for all you do to preserve the animals and the prairie plants. You all are a blessing to Texas!

    Sincerely,

    Marla Endieveri, CFRE

–Hi, Marla. Sorry for the delay in responding. Haven’t seen notices for comments, until today. DOH! Need to look closer.

Thank you for your compliments. We hope that you might come out to The SnK some time. If you’d like to give Selena a call at: 940-808-4021.
