Over the years I’ve gotten to be familiar with the Native Prairie Association of Texas whose mission is dedicated to the conservation, restoration, and appreciation of native prairies, savannas, and other grasslands in Texas. I’ve attended events they’ve held in both the DFW and Dewitt County areas and we’ve hosted some of their members on Field Days we’ve put on at the SnK. The organization has been a great resource to us during our land restoration project with the SnK Wildlife Reserve. On August 31, Selena and I were interviewed by the Development Director with Native Prairie Association of Texas, Jeff Sargent, and we talked about how we both got interested in nature.
