Really amazed to see this on the ground basin camera card. Selena identified it as a Red Shoulder Hawk. Nice of it to pose, huh? Keith
I live in the country and with all this COVID stuff going on I have read that its best to have your home open so it can breathe. Anyway about three am or so I hear noise on my back porch, I knew by the sounds it was critters. I woke up and looked out and saw the sweetest looking face staring back at me, a ring tailed cat. I missed getting a picture as my phone wouldn’t fire up quick enough and when I did get one it ducked behind a potted plant on the front porch. January 24, 2021
This Great Blue Heron has been frequenting the backyard, hunting gophers, and stopping off at the trough. He’s a welcome visitor, for sure. January 20, 2021
